We're looking for a junior front of house team member to join our award-winning tearoom team in the heart of the Churnet Valley.

You'll be working sociable daytime hours, either 1 or 2 days a week (additional hours during school holidays), providing our customers with the friendly, professional service they've come to expect over the past 40 years.

This role is perfect if you're at high school, sixth form or university We're a busy and friendly team within an established, family run business and we can't wait to welcome you to Team Ramblers

Your duties will include:

  • Assisting in all aspects of the daily operation of our busy tearoom from serving our customers at our garden counter or conservatory and snug to creating highquality coffees and drinks to working in our busy washroom to going the extra mile. This is a diverse and busy role
- you will never be bored

  • Being an ambassador for the Ramblers Retreat & Dimmingsdale, providing a friendly welcome to all our guests whilst representing the people, produce and landscapes that make the Churnet Valley so special

Criteria:

  • A friendly, cando attitude.
  • A team player who is happy to work with their colleagues to represent the Ramblers Retreat to the best of their ability.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including weekends, school holidays and bank holidays.
  • Works well in a fastpaced environment.
  • Ability to travel to our remote location.
