A market leading designer and developer of advanced sensor technologies is now looking for a two Embedded Software Engineers to join their growing team in Woking.


Reporting to the Software Team Lead, you will become a key member of the software engineering team to develop market leading software based solutions to advance and differentiate my client's range of precision position systems.

You will assume technical and software project leadership within the broader multi-disciplined technical team.


This will involve you in the Full life cycle development and implementation of embedded sensor and control algorithms used within the portfolio of advanced servo control systems, and advanced video processing platforms.

You will define interfaces and integration with third party subsystems.

You will also be responsible for the development, design and documentation of development kits for customer integration

Qualifications:


As the successful Embedded Software Engineer it is essential that you hold at least a Degree in a Software / Engineering or relevant discipline and likely to have achieved an MSc (or similar) in a related area.


Experience:


You should have at least 5 years experience of embedded programming utilising multiple peripherals, gained within a multi-disciplinary engineering team.


We are looking for a hands-on Engineer with advanced electronic and electro-mechanical sensor platforms, a good working knowledge of C and highly competent in mathematical techniques.

Key to this role is a good working knowledge of a range of programming languages relevant to embedded systems (C, C++ etc) and a range of object-oriented development along with the use of the

associated programming languages relevant to Windows and Linux based systems.
