You will be part of a dedicated care team operating in:

For this role we are looking for:

  • Female Drivers

Shift pay is offered instead of pay per call, meaning you get paid from the beginning to the end of your shift.

Pay: £ p/hr (drivers) / £ p/hr (walkers)

  • Mileage - 45p per mile for drivers / 20p per mile for cyclists
  • Full-time hours available
  • Bonus schemes*: up to £300 for new starters, £300 for referring a friend, £300 as an annual bonus, and a £25 birthday gift voucher

As a Care Assistant for Be Caring, your work hours will align with our shift patterns, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends:

  • Early shift: 7:00 am - 2:00 pm
  • Late shift: 4:00 pm - 10:00 pm

As a Care Assistant for Be Caring, we will establish your work schedule, creating a 2-week rotation which involves:

  • Alternating full weekends, or every Saturday or every Sunday
  • Evenings as agreed within your working hours

Job Description:

If you have prior experience as a caregiver for family or friends, you'll excel as a Care Assistant.

As a Care Assistant at Be Caring, you will:

  • Support individuals in achieving their goals, involving families and professionals
  • Deliver personal care that preserves people's dignity
  • Promote independence through enabling approaches
  • Provide personalized care based on individual choice and control
  • Be a strong and efficient communicator, documenting, reporting, and sharing information appropriately
  • Connect individuals to local support and services within their communities

Induction Training:

We are searching for individuals with Be Caring values to join our team. You may have no direct experience or you may have cared for a friend or family member. In any case, we will equip you with the necessary training to be an exceptional Care Assistant.

As a Care Assistant at Be Caring, you will receive extensive induction training on:

  • Be Caring values, going Above & Beyond to achieve personal goals
  • Dignity and respect, safeguarding, equality, and diversity
  • Confidentiality and professional boundaries
  • Fluids and nutrition, safe medication administration
  • Moving and positioning, basic life support, and pressure sore prevention
  • Infection prevention and control, health, and safety
  • Learning Disabilities (Oliver McGowan Tier 1), mental health, and capacity
