As a receptionist your key duties will include;

  • To have a good knowledge of the venue and styles of service.
  • To help customers with any issues or questions.
  • To keep the reception clean and tidy.
  • To promote a good team spirit and good relationship within the reception area.
  • To inform supervisors/managers of all guest comments and requirements that cannot be resolved immediately.
  • To store and keep safe customers jackets and other items.
  • To keep hold of all lost property until owner comes back to collect it.
  • Financial responsibility of payment for entry and cloak room.
  • A complete understanding of steps of service.
  • Maintain your standards throughout your shift, make sure nothing is left unfinished at the end of your shift.
  • Maximise sales and revenue by working efficiently
  • Complete all assigned opening and closing procedures and running duties
  • Quarterly training and tests to ensure the highest standards are always maintained.
