Dairy Operative

We are recruiting Dairy Operatives on a temporary to permanent basis for our client who is between Nottingham and Melton Mowbray.


They have been an award winning manufacturer for a number of years and due to growth are now adding to the team.

They have been established for over 100 years.

Duties include:

  • Operating machines
  • Hand finishing the products
  • Stirring, mixing
  • Cleaning of the machines and the work space
  • Working within company health, safety and hygiene guidelines
  • Various other duties as instructed by management


You will need to have your own transport due to the location of work (free on-site parking) and for the reliability the company is expecting.

It is a physically demanding role so you will need to be prepared to handle the workload and heavy duties.

Hours of work will be 5:30/6:30am-1:00pm on weekends and 5:30/6:30am-3:00pm on weekdays, on the following pattern:

Week 1:
Sunday to Saturday, with Thursday and Friday off

Week 2:
Sunday to Friday, with Saturday off

This may vary according to business requirements and the company operates a different shift pattern over winter and spring.

Rate of pay for weekday shifts is £10.50 per hour and for weekends is an excellent £17.50 per hour. You will be provided with work wear.

Reflect Recruitment Group is operating as Employment Business under the Employment Agencies Act 1973.
