About our Team
The Global Talent Acquisition (TA) team in Elsevier supports around 2000 hires annually across 40 markets worldwide, ensuring our business has the talent it needs to deliver against our strategy.
About the Role
The role doesn't involve day-to-day recruitment tasks but utilizes talent acquisition expertise, internal and external talent insights, business knowledge, and relationships to identify, lead, and manage recruitment projects.
You'll collaborate with teams globally, focusing on recruiting capability, diversity and inclusion, recruitment technology, and marketing across various markets, including the US, UK, EMEA, India, China, and Japan.
Responsibilities:
- Partnering with business leaders and HR teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation to significantly improve TA performance and ROI for the business
- Leveraging recruitment metrics and market trends and data to shape our recruitment strategy and continuous improvement activities
- Developing and gaining buyin for business cases for TA activities and investments, demonstrating clear ROI for our business
- Developing and managing recruitment project plans, timelines, and budgets for global recruitment initiatives
- Building exceptional relationships with internal and external partners to raise the bar on TA performance and drive change in how we attract and hire great talent
Requirements:
- Have experience leveraging internal and external data and talent intelligence to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
- Be able to build databacked business cases for TA activities and investments, aligning this to support our company's strategy and objectives and deliver ROI for the business
- Able to engage, inspire and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Have demonstrated capability across all aspects of talent acquisition within a diverse, global and multicultural setting
- Have excellent project management and project leadership skills
- Demonstrate a passion for inclusion and diversity
