We are currently looking for a Supervision Officer to join the team at our Douglas-based Client, a leading company in fiduciary services, fund administration, and management and investment advice compliance.



Responsibilities of the Supervision Officer include:


  • General administration tasks such as filing, data input, processing of documents, attending meetings, and note-taking
  • Assisting with regulatory returns of regulated entities
  • Supporting the administration of new authorizations, registrations, permission changes, and de-registrations
  • Conducting on-site visits and desk-based reviews
  • Conducting research for fit and proper assessments and assisting with compiling regulatory information
  • Contributing to the development of internal systems and controls
  • Handling public inquiries and complaints against regulated entities professionally
  • Managing ad hoc telephone queries

The ideal candidate for this role should have:

  • Educational background to GCSE level or higher, or equivalent
  • Experience in the Non-Life or related industry
  • Previous office environment and team work experience
  • Proficiency in taking detailed meeting notes/minutes
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Capability to offer administrative support as required
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
