Job description:

35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year

This post has a probationary period of six months.


A Caretaker is required to join our site management team to providing an efficient and effective caretaking, maintenance and site management service to meet the needs of all users of the school premises.

Site management operates on a shift
- based system. Previous caretaking experience would be an advantage.

Located in the London Borough of Ealing, The Ellen Wilkinson School for Girls is a large secondary school for girls aged Established as a comprehensive in 1974, the school was named for a former MP and Education Secretary, and became a foundation school in 1999.

With over 1300 pupils on roll, the school is larger than the average secondary school, and has a large and diverse catchment area, a fact reflected in the school's student intake.

The school was judged as 'Outstanding' by Ofsted in 2019, has obtained The Well Being Award, the Investors in People Gold Award and the Healthy Schools Gold Award.
