Job Description: The Solutions Engineer plays a crucial role in the Infrastructure Engineering Department, known for its expertise and teamwork within the industry.

  • Understand and implement VRS requirements, standards, and specifications, ensuring adherence to regulations.
  • Create designs, calculations, and specifications using relevant software and following national standards.
  • Provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders, including customers.
  • Collaborate with various teams in the organization from a technical and engineering standpoint.
  • Engage with a diverse range of customers such as Scheme Designers, Highways Authorities, and Product Installers.
  • Select the most suitable VRS solution demonstrating both technical and commercial acumen.
  • Participate in internal and external meetings and site visits.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in DMRB standards and general highways practices.
  • Ability to work closely with highways design teams to maintain high technical standards.
  • Experience in a design consultancy environment.
  • Relevant qualification in civil and/or structural engineering.
  • Strong technical aptitude with excellent multitasking and prioritization skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting, delivering quality work within set deadlines.
  • Effective communication abilities and a proactive approach to suggesting innovative ideas.
