Kitchen Porter
Monday to Friday
8am - 4.30pm

Duties:

  • Assist with food preparation and basic cooking tasks as directed by the chef.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment.
  • Ensure all food handling and storage procedures are followed to maintain health and safety standards.
  • Help with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring stock levels.
  • Follow proper sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic food handling and safety practices.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
  • Physical stamina to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects if necessary.
