Job Title: Kitchen Porter

We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Porter to join our successful brigade as we continue to grow. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and preparing essential ingredients for our chefs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans using dishwashers or by hand
  • Place clean dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment in storage areas
  • Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition
  • Stock supplies such as food and utensils in serving stations, cupboards, and refrigerators
  • Sweep and scrub floors
  • Clean rubbish bins with water or steam
  • Sort and remove rubbish, placing it in designated pickup areas
  • Clean and prepare various foods for cooking or serving
  • Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks
