_General Laundry Assistant / Relief Delivery Driver_

We have a vacancy for a General Laundry Assistant & Relief Delivery Driver in our expanding family run laundry.

Manual handling of laundry cages and hamper bags will be an everyday occurrence and you will work predominantly in the Wash House with relief driving as and when required.

Operation of commercial laundry machinery will be required once full training has been completed.

This role starts at 06:00 and finishes at 15:00, 4 days out of 7. This is a 7 day operation and weekend work will be required.

Overtime Available in busy periods

Driving Role

Essential

  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Excellent Customer Service
  • Organised, able to problem solve and follow instructions
  • Good physical fitness
  • Common sense
  • Ability to take instructions and carry out tasks
  • Weekend availability (MANDATORY)
  • 6am Start Time

Desirable

  • Previous experience within a multidrop delivery environment

Operative Role

  • Loading and unloading linen, towels, and laundry
    _Heavy_ lifting involved.
  • Working within a large laundry production team environment
  • Goods Inward Processing
  • Operation of Machinery
  • Working in a safe manner
  • Processing paperwork as required
