Job Description

My client in Central London is looking to appoint a talented Placement Sufficiency Programme Director on a Contract basis.

  • £700 per day Outside IR35
  • Hybrid working
  • ASAP start

The role will deliver a highly ambitious programme, leading on the cost efficiencies and sufficiencies of the Council's placement function for children leaving care.

About the role:

Based in Central London (Remote):

  • Lead the programme to deliver the agreed outcomes within time, cost and quality constraints.
  • You will be able to galvanise and put in place capacity across the organisation.
  • Navigate and encourage collaboration across the Council, especially relating to adults, corporate services, property services, and housing.
  • Manage two project managers who are allocated to support delivery of the programme.

About you:

You will have the following experiences:

  • Experience in leading major programmes and projects
  • Substantial experience in Children's Services, ideally working with the Placements function.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, able to navigate various departments within the Council.
