Reed Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be working with a well established client in South Shields who are looking for an experienced Part-Time Payroll Clerk to join their team on a permanent basis.

Working in a busy finance team, your main duties will include:

  • Processing and reconciling payroll transactions (4-weekly & monthly).
  • Calculating and submitting monthly PAYE/NI contributions.
  • Producing reports from the payroll and time & attendance systems.
  • Maintaining employee records holidays, sickness, maternity & etc and the pension contributions system.
  • Processing of expenses claim payments.
  • Reconciling Balance Sheets for PAYE, NI and Pension.
  • Submitting temporary employee hours and processing invoices for payment.
  • Managing Pension contributions including monthly submissions via online portal.
  • Annual P60 and P11D returns.
  • Any other adhoc duties as requested.

You will need:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Well organised with an eye for detail.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel.
  • Working knowledge of various payroll systems specifically SAGE 50.
