Potwasher and counter server
Come and join the team at our beautiful new café at the Ludlow Assembly Rooms. 5 straight shifts, paid meal breaks, free meals at work.

Who we are looking for
We're looking for an organized speedy potwasher who would also enjoy a bit of serving on the counter. You will work in a clean and organized way, have high standards and enjoy being part of a team.

The job
You will be working 5 straight shifts normally 11am to 5pm. You will wash dishes and pots and clear tables and serve on the counter. Probably roughly 80% dishwashing/table clearing, 20% counter serving.

The café manager will be your line manager.

The Café
We opened at the Assembly Rooms in July 2021. We have around 60 covers and serve around 100 meals and a further 200 coffee/snacks each day.

Our normal opening hours are Monday to Saturday 8am to 4pm seven days a week plus roughly one day a week evening opening to tie in with events at the Assembly Rooms.


We aim to cross-train all our staff over time so that front of house staff are in a position to lend a hand in the kitchen when necessary and vice versa.


Pay:

Adult starting rate is £9.50 per hour (rising to £10.50 in April) rising on completion of initial training. Subsequent pay rises will be possible once you are trained in different areas. Meal breaks are paid and your meals during work are free.

Hours
Your standard working week is around 30 hours worked over 5 days.
