We are a visionary organization dedicated to excellence, and we are searching for an individual like you to play a vital role in our Risk & Assurance team. As our Internal Audit Reporting Assistant, you will be instrumental in managing our integrated audit database and offering crucial support services.
What's Your Average Day Like?
In this varied role, your daily tasks will be diverse and interesting. You will have the chance to:
- Produce Impactful Reports: Generate regular and ad hoc reports for our Internal Audit team, including creating new reports as requested by our Director of Risk & Assurance and Deputy Head of Internal Audit.
- Produce Papers for Audit and Risk Committee: Compile reports for our Audit and Risk committee and Business Assurance committees on departmental work, audit status, and actions.
- Support Audit Action Tracking: Act as the main contact for audit action tracking and reporting, utilizing Pentana and CMO compliance.
- Collate and Review Data: Gather, review, and provide audit and action status for key committee meetings such as Business Assurance Committee, Audit & Risk Committee, and Safety, Health, and Environment Committee.
- Ensure Consistent Quality: Implement a thorough review process to guarantee consistent standards of quality in all reports.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to identifying and enhancing inefficient processes within the Internal Audit Team, promoting continuous improvement.
- Performance Metrics: Aid in preparing periodic performance metrics for the Director of Risk & Assurance.
- Workshop Preparation: Play a crucial role in organizing and preparing for Internal Audit workshops, providing valuable insights.
- General Administration: Support the overall administration of the department to ensure efficient operations.
What essential skills and experiences are required?
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team conducting audits.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in database operations and other IT skills such as Word, Excel, and SharePoint.
Duration: Permanent
Location: This position is situated at The Quadrant:MK. Candidates must reside within a 90-minute proximity of The Quadrant for roles based there.
