Internal Auditor Role

At Audit and Risk Recruitment, we are seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join our client's audit department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for conducting audits across the business, providing independent assurance over the control environment, and identifying areas for improvement.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work alongside the Head of Internal Audit, who is committed to driving efficiency and sustainability through the provision of high-quality audit services. You will have the autonomy to carry out audits independently, engage with senior stakeholders, and deliver a quality service for a world-renowned business.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting audits across the business, including financial, operational, and compliance audits
  • Providing independent assurance over the control environment, including risk assessment and mitigation
  • Identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for change
  • Engaging with senior stakeholders, including the Head of Internal Audit and other members of the audit team
  • Delivering a quality service, including timely and accurate reporting

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of internal audit experience, from either an in-house or practice background
  • ACA/ACCA/CIA/IIA part qualified or fully qualified
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with senior stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
