This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Administrator who is looking to join a well-established and reputable firm of chartered accountants based in St.

Asaph.

As a Payroll Administrator you will be supporting clients and developing your experience alongside a highly professional and motivated team.

Role:
The role will focus on diligently processing and supporting monthly, weekly and annual payroll for multiple client companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working with STAR payroll software
  • Inputting payroll, running reports and creating payslips.
  • Resolving queries with clients and HMRC
  • Adding new starters/processing leavers.
  • Calculate statutory payments such as maternity, paternity and sick leave.
  • Updating employee/employer records when relevant.
  • Undertaking manual calculations of payroll taxes and NI
  • Uploading pension details to various providers.
  • Working through the end of year process
  • Any other ad hoc duties required to ensure the payroll function runs in the most efficient & effective manner.

Required skills:

  • Excellent numeracy skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, comfortable picking up the phone and speaking to clients and HMRC
  • A willingness to develop an up to date indepth payroll knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • The ability to work in a fastpaced environment and able to provide excellent customer service to clients
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • IT literacy and competent with Excel
