Job Summary:

The role holder is responsible for all activity related to the efficient and effective provision of service to meet contractual obligations related to Software and Licencing requirements. They will build and maintain a strong customer relationship for service and act as the primary point of contact for the customer on a day to day basis.

The oversight of service operations in this role includes ensuring contract management and delivery services are appropriately executed. The role holder will work with internal departments to develop and facilitate business improvement solutions that support effective and efficient customer focus, inclusive of but not limited to renewals, improvement initiatives and new solutions. This role holder works under limited supervision and exercises decision-making authority.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive license compliance implementation, fostering compliance-related behaviors across teams.
  • Serve as the primary contact for license agreement negotiations and amendments, ensuring consistency.
  • Manage contractual compliance for existing software licensees to optimize value.
  • Integrate technical and business knowledge to guide targeting efforts.
  • Communicate plans and progress to senior leaders and stakeholders.
  • Support Commercial Teams with ongoing contract requirements.
  • Provide insight into emerging software licensing trends and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with customers and manage them daily.
  • Oversee delivery of contractual obligations within role parameters.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and sub-contractors to meet SLAs and KPIs.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and generate additional revenue through variation orders.
  • Address customer queries and issues, escalating as needed.
  • Develop end-of-life estimates and maintenance plans with internal teams.
  • Lead discussions on potential contractual changes with customers.
  • Prepare and distribute technical and performance reports as required.
  • Ensure contractual commitments are met within performance standards and budgets.
  • Act as Cubic's representative as needed.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Health & Safety representatives for compliance.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including codes of conduct and safety guidelines.
  • Fulfill other duties as assigned by manager as needed.

Skills knowledge and experience:

  • Essential:
    • Experience in a leading role within a customer service environment
    • Ability to demonstrate a track record of generating business growth or improvement
    • Experience of interpreting and analysing large volumes of complex data
    • Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent education/experience
    Desirable:
    • Experience working in a matrix organisation
    • Understanding of ISO9001
    • ITIL certification
