Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Counter Assistant to join our team.

As a Counter Assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and assisting with various tasks in a fast-paced take away environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and provide friendly and efficient service at the counter
  • Take customer orders accurately and input them into the system
  • Prepare and package food items according to established guidelines
  • Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the counter area
  • Assist with food preparation as needed
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
  • Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks and meet customer needs

Experience:

  • Previous experience in a culinary or kitchen environment is preferred but not necessary.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
