DK Recruitment are currently seeking Multiskilled Carpenters to join their industry leading client based in Taunton. This position is on a fulltime permanent basis, with a competitive salary plus benefits
Duties include:
- Carrying out routine PPM tasks, reactive works, and small projects sometimes on your own and sometimes part of a team
- Buildingrelated tasks including repairs to doors, tiling, plastering, flooring, and general carpentry perhaps even some basic plumbing
- Attending callouts/breakdowns and carrying out remedial repairs and replacements
- Providing materials lists and time estimates for return remedial works
- You will also be expected to work as part of an oncall rota to cover outofhours emergencies and there may be occasions when you'll be asked to work outside your core discipline to support other teammates
Experience required:
- Experienced carpenter with working knowledge of other related trades, including but not limited to repairs to doors, tiling, plastering, flooring, and general carpentry, and basic plumbing.
- A high degree of attention to detail
- A good appreciation of Health and Safety
- Highly customer focused with experience of dealing with customers and suppliers
- Experience of working within a mobile workforce, ideally in an FM company
- Excellent communication skills
- Full driving licence
Salary:
£11.00-£16.00 per hour
