The Internal Quality Assurer (IQA) plays a crucial role in two key areas. They are responsible for physically reviewing portfolios approved by Assessors and are part of the team overseeing the Centre's operations.
- Supervise the assessment process, review assessment evidence and records to ensure a fair, consistent, and thorough assessment level is maintained.
- Develop and implement systems to meet all requirements of the Accreditation body.
- Provide support to assessors in their performance and development.
• Validate assessors' eligibility for assessment tasks. - Manage the complaints and appeals procedure.
- Evaluate assessment standards against national benchmarks and comply with CIWM (WAMITAB) and Centre guidelines.
- Keep Assessors informed of any changes to Standards or new guidance.
- Wiser is a reputable waste management qualification provider with full Direct Claims Status.
- WISER Training (formerly Milton Centre) has been operating since 1995, offering Waste Management RQF Awards (previously NQF's & QCF's).
- Wiser is an Environmental Consultancy bringing years of industry expertise, prioritizing client needs.
- Receive support from an experienced Centre Team, Assessor Team, and secondary IQA.
- Mentoring opportunities available.
- Remote work option (requires occasional site visits).
- Flexible working hours typical of self-employment.
- Strong communication, presentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the waste industry.
- Relevant CIWM qualification (LROC, MROC, HROC).
- Hold an IQA qualification (CAVA, TAQA).
- Possess a Teaching Qualification Certificate (e.g., PTLLS, Cert Ed, C&G 7302).
Contract Type:
Self Employed. You will enter into a service contract with Wiser, invoicing for services rendered as per the agreement.
