We are currently looking for an experienced hard working, good time keeping lively Financial accounts Administrator to work across our nurseries.

The role is full time,
40 hours.


We care for children from aged
6 months to 5 years, between the hours of 7;30 am until 6.30 pm 5 days a week 51 weeks of the year.

Your role will be to support the Directors of the Nursery and the Senior Managers across all settings.

The role will include:
Auditing accounts invoices reconciliation

  • Greeting parents, children and visitors to the nursery
  • Booking in visits and showarounds for prospective parents and doing follow up calls
  • Generating parent invoices using the nursery computer programme
- distributing invoices and handling queries, training will be provided.

  • Collection of fees including the administration of Childcare vouchers, pursuing outstanding fees and resolving any account queries. working along side our debt collectors
  • Reconciliation of all accounts
  • Tracking short falls in income across the nurseries
  • Supporting in staff recruitment
  • Keeping staff records up to date
  • Working closely with the local authority and outside agency
  • Supporting all settings with Ofsted inspections and record keeping
  • Taking minutes of meetings
  • Typing staff supervisions
  • Tracking staff absences
  • Perform general office duties i.e. postal duties, copying and filing, maintaining stationary orders and stock level management
  • Responding to queries in a timely manner
  • Answering the phones and transferring calls appropriately
  • Diary management
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential staff, children and parent's records.
  • Preparing monthly payroll spreadsheet and staff holidays. Ensuring that this is authorised by the Nursery Manager / Deputy before forwarding to the Director.
  • Liaising with Nursery managers and Directors with general employee administration.
  • Understanding and following all the nursery policies and procedures at all times

  • Ability to manage and prioritise daily workload
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • Ability to work independently
  • Book keeping is essential but not essential
  • Previous experience in a Nursery Environment would be preferable.

Essential criteria:

  • Proficient with MS Office, especially Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Preparing year end accounts
  • Minimum 5years administrator experience.
  • Honest reliable and confidential
  • Good time keeping
  • Able to work under pressure

Required experience:
- administrator: 5 years

Required language:

  • English to a high level, written and spoken

Salary:
From £23,982.84 per year
