About the role:


Activate Learning now have an exciting opportunity for an Examinations Officer to join our team based at City of Oxford College.


The Examinations Team are responsible for all matters relating to the students' outcomes - obtaining information from Faculties, registration of students with awarding bodies, entering students for exams, running of the exams, processing of results, and providing examination data as required.

This role will be key in supporting the smooth running of all examination processes across our Oxford Colleges.


The role will be based at City of Oxford College, with occasional travel required to our Blackbird Leys College in Oxford based on the requirements of the team.


What do you need to be successful as an Examinations Officer at Activate Learning?


We are looking for someone with excellent organisational and teamwork skills, and a high level of customer service skills to enable you to communicate effectively with all our customers.


You will have the ability to use your own initiative, and be friendly and confident in dealing with day to day systems, procedures and students.


About you:

  • Qualified to Level 2 standard or higher in English and Maths
  • Excellent organisational and teamwork skills
  • High level of customer service and able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
  • Previous experience and confidence in using a large data base is essential
  • Strong IT skills and the ability to use all Microsoft programmes including Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Experience working in an examination office is desirable but not essential
