Psychology Secondary Teacher

Remedy are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Psychology Secondary Teacher to join a team in Southend.

As a Psychology Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating and challenging learning environment that will enable our students to develop their understanding of human behaviour and mental processes.


Key Responsibilities for a Psychology Teacher:
Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in Psychology to students in Secondary School, from Year 9 to Year 13

Plan and deliver practical activities, experiments, and other activities that enhance students' learning experience and deepen their understanding of Psychology.

Ensure that all lessons are delivered in line with the school's policies and procedures, and that all relevant safeguarding and health and safety guidelines are followed

Requirements for Psychology Teacher:
A degree in Psychology or a related field, with a postgraduate degree in Education or a teaching qualification such as PGCE or QTS
Experience of teaching Psychology in a Secondary School environment, with a proven track record of raising achievement and promoting engagement
A passion for the subject, with an in-depth understanding of current theories and research in Psychology
A commitment to ongoing professional development, with a willingness to participate in school-wide initiatives and CPD opportunities.
