Travel Co-Ordinator

Travel Co-Ordinator - Role & Responsibilities:

  • Handle sales leads and close sales / upsell where possible to maximise revenue
  • Provide an effective after sales service and deal with all associated booking administration
  • Assist with new product development on a seasonal basis by sourcing information, liaising with suppliers to obtain rates and packaging the product for sale on the website, with appropriate product descriptions and image selection.
  • Update existing product range in accordance with market trends and customer demand
  • Support the implementation and management of marketing campaigns and initiatives to increase company awareness online and offline, and be involved with the promotion of the website, including content & social media management
**Travel Co-Ordinator

  • Skills & Experience Required**:
  • Travel industry experience, preferably within retail travel or tour operations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a genuine desire to provide a personalised sales and after sales service with a customer focused approach
  • Self motivated with a willingness to multi task and assist in every area of the business including sales, operations, product development & administration. This is a small business where flexibility and commitment are vital
  • Self sufficient and reliable with confidence & ability to work autonomously when required
  • Strong team player
  • Enthusiastic and keen to learn and develop in the role

Travel Co-Ordinator - Additional Information:

  • Basic salary according to experience plus discretionary bonus
  • Monday to Friday some flexibility with working hours but core hours are 10 to 5
