- Finance liaison for the Retail Division, utilizing in-depth knowledge to enhance operational and financial performance.
- Collaborating with Retail Management Teams as a Business Partner to analyze and challenge P&L and KPIs, offering timely and precise reporting, and emphasizing the correlation between financial and operational results.
- Evaluating individual and group performance against budget and previous year, delivering essential insights to operational teams to support decision-making across various areas such as Prescription Numbers, Retail Sales, Gross Margin, Branch Wages, and Other Branch Costs.
- Aiding in the month-end process by furnishing analysis and commentary on KPI performance in the preliminary accounts.
- Contributing to budgeting and forecasting for the Retail Business, providing crucial assistance to Retail Teams in establishing a robust budgeting procedure.
- Offering vital financial and analytical backing for future business ventures in the Retail Division, particularly focusing on pre-investment analysis to facilitate decision-making regarding potential payback periods.
- Implementing cost control strategies to comprehend costs within the pharmacy portfolio and recommending corrective measures to optimize future expenditures.
