About the role
We are recruiting for a Supplier Resolution Officer to join the Trade team on a fixed term contract. This role would entail the Officer to act as an escalation point for internal query resolution teams.

You will be required to cut through hierarchies and work cross functionally across the business to mitigate any risk of GSCOP breach with regards to supplier invoice queries.

This is a 12 month maternity cover contract, and the hiring manager for this vacancy is Lorna Dickinson.

You will be responsible for
Ensuring that Tesco is compliant with the Groceries Supply Code of Practice (GSCOP) query resolution guidelines by:

  • Understanding issues quickly and categorising them effectively to enable quick resolution.
  • Summarising issues for various stakeholders enabling them to take decisions quickly.
  • Following escalation matrix to ensure all possible opportunities are given to the business to provide evidence to support query resolution
  • Communicating effectively with various functions across the business.
  • Ensuring queries are resolved within agreed timelines.
  • Working with the Supplier Support Manager to manage exceptions.
