Hours:
flexible 0hr role -
weekend and weekday working is required:

  • more hours will be available during school/bank holidays, up to 5 or 6 shifts in peak times and 1 or 2 shifts when quieter.
This role is an hourly paid, fixed term role.

Wherever possible we aim to offer a consistent working pattern, but we're looking for flexibility as it may be necessary for us to alter this pattern from time to time to suit the needs of the business.

What it's like to work here:Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you'll be based at Canons Ashby House.

Built by the Drydens using the remains of a medieval priory, the house and gardens have survived mostly unaltered since 1710 and are presented as they were during the Victorian era.

The warm, welcoming house features grand rooms, stunning tapestries and Jacobean plasterwork and the property also has a tea-room, bookshop and Coach House shop.


Due to the location and lack of public transport you'll need your own transport to commute to Canons Ashby House.

What you'll be doing:

With your love of working with people, positive attitude, and desire to provide an excellent service, you'll welcome and look after every customer who visits our Food and Beverage outlet.

Using your excellent attention to detail, you'll ensure all signage is displayed correctly and the food served, looks delicious.

From time to time you may be required to assist the kitchen team with food prep, but your core focus will be from a front of house perspective.

You will receive a bespoke induction, allergen/food safety training and the coaching required to fulfil in role. Further professional training & development opportunities are available.
