Holden Knight Education Ltd are seeking dedicated and passionate SEN Learning Support Assistants to join schools in and around Surrey.


As a special educational needs LSA, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of students and helping them reach their full potential.

Duties

  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum objectives.
  • Provide instruction in various subjects, such as Maths, English, Science, and more.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback on their academic performance.
  • Utilise effective teaching strategies to engage students and promote active learning.
  • Monitor student behaviour and implement behaviour management techniques when necessary.
  • Provide individualised support to students with special needs or learning difficulties.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect and diversity.
Qualifications

  • Valid enhanced DBS on update service.
  • Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of special education practices and strategies.
  • Familiarity with childcare regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with parents/guardians regarding student progress.
  • Experience in tutoring or providing additional academic support is a plus.
