Overview:


We have an opportunity available for a part time Support Worker (£10.90 per hour) to join our team working across our supported housing services based in Lancaster.

24 hour contract available.


You will be based at our service Millstone Court, Lancaster, Lancashire (LA1 2DH) however you will be working across lancaster services providing different levels of support and guidance to individuals living in their own homes.

Due to travel Access to own transport is essential.

The aim of the service is to promote independence and empower service users to develop their daily living skills.

Look no further than working with us here at Making Space As a Support Worker in Supported Living you'll be supporting adults on a person-centered basis to live independently, helping them move towards independent accommodation.


From medication assistance to accessing the community and domestic tasks, your days will be varied, and no two days will be the same.

That's why we're looking for someone who can think on their feet and truly understand our clients' needs with a big smile that lights up our service users' faces.


We're not too concerned about qualifications for this role; we're more interested in your values and how you build relationships with our service users and fellow colleagues.

Qualifications:


It's important to note that you do not need prior industry experience or any specific qualifications to be considered for this role.

On joining Making Space you will be supported step by step with on-the-job training as well as the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications if desired and required for your role.
