Marketing Communications Coordinator role on offer.


You or a to join our growing Marketing team within Brand Communications, located at our head office in Deeside, near Chester.

The purpose of the role is to assist in the delivery of all customer marketing activity and campaigns:

Day to day activities:

  • Working with the Brand Communications team to deliver integrated campaigns, with a specific focus on Above the line advertising
  • Write copy and pull together product information and creative briefs for marketing activity
  • Working closely with the Marketing Planning team to ensure creative briefs are accurate, relevant and consistent with all Marketing channels
  • Working closely with wider Marketing teams across PR, Social Media, Digital, Point of sale, CRM and Online
  • Working closely with designers in our inhouse design studio
  • Collating product information and creative assets for briefs
  • Assisting with photography briefing where required
  • Managing deadlines, critical paths and schedules, liaising with all relevant teams to ensure they are aware of deadlines and current status.
  • Reviewing competitor activity
  • Assisting in campaign wash ups
  • Organising and maintaining Marketing activity logs along with creative examples
  • Working with Brand Communications and Marketing planning to manage internal sign off process across Buying, Legal, Supply Chain and the wider marketing team
  • Proof all advertising activity to ensure information is accurate and legal
  • Where required, assist in the development of media plans
  • Where required, support with any assigned TV campaigns, from briefing through to adverts on air, including external agency liaison, scheduling, asset coordination and script substantiation; ensuring all elements are delivered accurately on time and within agreed budget.
  • Raise purchase orders and keep a clear record of expenditure against budget.
  • Liase with other departments across the business and collate and share key information with the team
  • Keeping up to date on all Marketing Planning information cascades and adapting activity in line with any changes
  • Contribute towards ad hoc marketing activity

Skills Required:

  • Marketing experience required but not essential
  • Retail experience preferred but not essential
  • Passionate about Marketing
  • Motivated selfstarter
  • Ability to get stuck in
  • Good attention to detail and strong work ethic
  • Be planned and organised but always ready to adapt quickly to change
