We are looking for a hardworking, flexible, resilient, and compassionate individual to undertake the role of Administrator based in our Community Mental Health Team Duty Hub.

The successful applicant will be working in a busy office environment with a multidisciplinary team of Community Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Social Workers, and Support Workers.


The post holder will be expected to answer a busy phoneline, whilst demonstrating compassion and maintaining professional boundaries with callers.

The Duty Hub is responsible for the triaging of the incoming Community Mental Health Team referrals and supporting those patients that need additional mental health support on the day.

This can mean some callers may be distressed; therefore, a person-centered and non-judgmental approach is always required.


he post holder will be expected to liaise with GPs, Consultants and other agencies responding to queries appropriately ensuring confidentiality.

Good communication skills are essential.

The ideal applicant should have strong computer skills including Excel, Outlook, Microsoft Teams and Word.

They will be responsible for inputting all new referrals into the service onto our clinical system and keeping accurate and confidential records.

New entrants to the NHS will commence on the minimum of the scale stated above.
