Quality Care at Home is a new owner led domiciliary care company covering Haverhill and the villages south of Cambridge.

I am looking for an experienced care assistant to work locally providing support to older people some, some of whom may have dementia,in their own homes.

Ideally you will have at least 1.5 to 2 years previous experience in the care sector and a driver with your own vehicle.

Training will be given to ensure the support provided meets the requirements of the Quality Care Commission.

I am looking for somebody who is bubbly, smiley and someone who loves to make a difference to somebody's daily life big or small.

Requirements for the role

  • Full UK Driving license and car
  • Full DBS check
  • Qualified in health and social care or experience within the care sector with older generation.

Role of the job:

  • Attending to all personal care needs of the client
  • Meal prepping or cooking a meal
  • General house tidying / cleaning
  • Companionship and a listening ear
  • Attending activities with clients
  • Food shop may require for some clients.

Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8am until 11:30am assisting clients with personal care

12pm to 1pm, lunch calls

Afternoon calls usually are for companionship and attending activities

Evening calls from 6pm to 7pm.

Each day will be different depending on clients needs.


These hours will vary each day and is only a base line example of what your day could look like.

Part-time hours: 25 per week

Salary:
£18.00 per hour
