Join Our Team as a Waking Night Family Assessment Worker at The Oval _Supporting Families in an Assessment Centre._

We've been registered for over 12 months and are expanding our services. We are seeking ambitious staff to join our team.

About The Oval

  • We can support up to 5 families, mainly mothers and babies, at any given time for an assessment period of around 13 weeks.
  • Our ultimate aim is for families to leave our services having had fair opportunity, free from judgment and armed with tools to thrive regardless of the outcome.

  • Your work will directly contribute to court assessments and vital paperwork.

The Role

  • Each night, you and a colleague will ensure the families are safe within The Oval.
  • Whether imparting wisdom, soothing babies, or monitoring CCTV, your presence will make a difference.
  • Communication is vital, with regular weekly updates with your team and monthly meetings with the entire team.

Work-Life Balance

  • We offer a rolling rota to maintain consistency for our families, and staff. This is based around the needs of the centre.
  • Our night working hours are between 8 pm 8 am, 7 days a week.
  • Fulltime Night staff average of 3 or 4 shifts per week at work.
  • Full time staff work one weekend in every three.
