Transport Coordinator

Hours of work:
Monday to Friday or

Dynamite recruitment is working with a very well-established business who are based in the Portsmouth area.

As a Transport Coordinator you will be responsible for

Liaise with customers via email and on the telephone to manage various enquiries.
To assist customers with enquiries from booking consignments through to confirmation of delivery
Liaise with other sites and departments to manage the transportation of good.
To follow up on late and missing deliveries
To manage the transportation of goods , driver issues
Provide progress updates and information in a polite and professional manner via email and the telephone.
Full range of administration tasks including data processing, KPI reporting, scanning updating the internal data management system.
Handle queries and complaints in a professional nature in line with companies procedures.
Enhance the customer journey and experience.
The ideal Transport Coordinator will have / be.

The ideal candidate will have good Communication skills both written and verbal.
Excellent customer service skills and experience
Have previous, experience in assisting customers from the initial enquiry through to completion.
Good administration skills and experience
Be fully competent in using Microsoft office.
Be well organised and able to multitask.
Will be able to prioritise.
Strong attention to detail
A professional and polite can do attitude.
Previous experience within Transport . Logistics , import , export would be advantageous.
