About the role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to help shape Royal London's approach to producing internal ratings for illiquid assets (including ERM).
As part of our growing annuity proposition you will develop, implement, and manage credit rating approaches for illiquid assets within Royal London's Matching Adjustment Portfolio.
Working within our Commercial function the Annuities team are developing propositions associated with our Matching Adjustment fund. In particular, we are focused on increasing the diversity of assets available to back annuity liabilities.Key responsibilities
Develop credit rating approaches for new asset classes as they are introduced into Royal London's Matching Adjustment Portfolio
Prepare and maintain Credit Quality Assessments for illiquid assets held by the insurance company, specifically those inside the Matching Adjustment portfolio
Work with external parties to ensure appropriate assurance around internal ratings
Support the calibration of the Internal Model stresses associated with illiquid assets
Criteria
Understanding of how credit rating methodologies are implemented within context of a Matching Adjustment portfolio
Ability to deliver a range of deliverables in parallel, including major projects
Ability to provide robust challenge constructively whilst also working with stakeholders to solve any problems identified
