We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team.
As a Catering Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service and support for our catering operations.
This is a great opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of catering events, including tables, chairs, linens, and decorations
- Prepare food and beverages for events, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of catering areas before, during, and after events
- Assist with inventory management, including restocking supplies and monitoring stock levels
- Collaborate with the catering team to ensure smooth event execution and guest satisfaction
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
Skills:
- Previous experience in a hospitality or catering role is preferred
- Knowledge of catering operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members in a professional manner
- Basic knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Salary:
£11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Experience:
- Catering: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Food Hygiene Certificate (preferred)
