Role Overview:


We are looking for a highly skilled Data Privacy Manager with experience to join our partner's dynamic team on a contract basis.

The selected individual will lead privacy initiatives, ensure compliance with regulations, and offer strategic guidance on data privacy matters.


Key Responsibilities:

n- Develop and execute data privacy policies, procedures, and controls to protect sensitive information.n- Offer expert guidance to internal stakeholders on privacy-related matters, such as data handling practices, risk assessments, and compliance requirements.n- Conduct privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and create strategies to mitigate identified risks.n- Collaborate with various teams to include privacy considerations in business processes and tech solutions.n- Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry trends to keep the privacy program effective.n- Act as a privacy matter expert, providing training programs to boost privacy awareness across the organization.n- Communicate with regulatory bodies, external auditors, and vendors on privacy subjects.n- Support incident response by investigating and resolving privacy incidents promptly.n- Prepare and deliver reports to senior management, presenting key privacy risks, compliance status, and actions taken for remediation.


Qualifications and Experience:
n- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Law, or related disciplines.

Advanced degree or certifications in GDPR & IAPP (CIPP/E, CIPT, CIPM) are a plus.n- At least 5 years of privacy and data protection experience, preferably in financial services or IT consulting.n- Proficiency in privacy laws and regulations including GDPR, CCPA, and industry-specific requirements like PCI-DSS.n- Experience in managing, developing, and implementing privacy programs, policies, and procedures effectively.n- Strong project management skills for leading cross-functional projects and achieving results.n- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.n- Analytical thinking to assess complex privacy risks and devise practical solutions.n- Sound understanding of legal frameworks related to data privacy management.
