Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification

Skills Required:

Caring and nurturing attitude

Ability to provide personal care to children

Job Duties:

Assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children

Provide personal care and support to children as needed

Assist in implementing a broad and balanced curriculum tailored to individual needs

Foster children's self-confidence, positive self-esteem, and communication skills

Encourage children to develop self-evaluation skills and positive attitudes towards their achievements

Ensure equal opportunities for all pupils to facilitate their development

Collaborate with parents to involve them in their child's education

Maintain a positive and forward-looking approach to discipline

Working Conditions:

The work will primarily take place during school hours

The nursery assistant will be part of a busy school environment

The role involves interacting with children, parents, and teachers on a daily basis

The environment should be kept happy, safe, and stimulating for children to thrive

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
