Event Staff Job Description


Event Staff need to be constantly being on their feet and attend to the many needs of event-goers, requiring physical stamina and high energy levels.


Event Staff Responsibilities:

  • Unloading equipment and stock from Aber vehicles, setting up venues for events, including chairs, tables, marquees.
  • Ensuring all staff and customers adhere to any health & safety regulations.
  • Operating tills and cash register.
  • Ensuring all events equipment is well kept, cleaned after every event and put away in the events storage.
  • Ensuring excellent levels of customer service at all times, going above and beyond for the customer.
  • Welcoming guests and passionately introducing them to the brand.
  • Working on a stand serving spirit samples, drink pours and drinks when required.
  • Always refer to the inventory list when collecting equipment prior to an event. Check for damage post event and put all equipment back in order correctly.

Event Staff Requirements:

  • Outstanding organisational skills, diligence and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanour.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Physical stamina and high energy levels.
  • Good problem solving skills.
  • Ability to perform under high stress levels.
  • Excellent multitasking ability.
  • Conflict management skill.
  • Driving License beneficial.
  • Welsh speaking desired
