HOURS:
Full time and part time available. Harmless operate a 4-day working model with full time staff working 32 hours per week.

SALARY:
£23,078 per annum, pro rata, rising to £24,512 per annum, pro rata, upon successful completion of a six-month probationary period.

TIMELINE:

Ability to travel across the region is an essential part of this role.

MAIN PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE JOB

  • At the heart of our service is that hope and recovery is possible, and that with the right support and help life can get better. You will be part of a service that adheres, upholds, and has faith with this ethos in all aspects of the operation.
  • To provide a range of practical interventions and administrative support designed to promote the recovery and wellbeing of our service users including (but not limited to):
  • Housing support e.g. housing and tenancy rights and access, homelessness prevention.
  • Employment support e.g. job searches and interview skills.
  • Social engagement support e.g. accessing community projects to reduce social isolation.
  • To support the recovery of service users by reducing barriers and increasing access and engagement in activities and practical support that will improve their quality of life of the communities we serve.
  • To support and collaborate with the wider clinical team by providing administrative support with practical interventions.
  • To manage caseloads of people experiencing practical and complex needs such as financial advice, welfare rights, housing concerns or employmentrelated issues.
  • To conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals' needs and challenges.
  • To develop and implement personalised action plans focusing on practical solutions, ensuing progress is monitored and adjusted accordingly as required.
  • To provide expert knowledge, advice, and guidance on a range of theme including debt management, housing support, social engagement, and financial and benefits support.
  • To work collaboratively with other professionals and organisations to ensure a holistic support system for individuals.
  • To maintain accurate and confidential records of all activities.
  • To provide an assertive outreach approach across the region, to promote a preventative and early intervention to people of all ages at risk and groups of concern. This will include both direct client work and innovative outreach initiatives.
  • To work innovatively and collaboratively with communities of need to promote health and recovery amongst individuals by using and demonstrating a range of nonclinical and practical interventions that promote coping and resilience and overcome crisis.
  • To promote and improve access to Harmless' wider psychological care and support services.
  • To ensure that clients are engaged in the appropriate external services and partners to meet their longerterm support needs.
  • To meet and exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) on both an individual and service level.
  • To coordinate, where necessary a safeguarding response in line with local practices and services to ensure that an individual is safe and has a coordinated package of care to ensure they survive their crisis in the most helpful manner for them.
  • To support the management and leadership team to uphold the short term, medium term, and long term organisational and the clinical and support team's objectives.
