If you are an experienced Healthcare Assistant looking to expand your skills and knowledge into complex care or if you already have complex care experience, this could be the perfect job role for you


We are looking for compassionate and committed Healthcare Assistants in Norwich, who are passionate about delivering the highest quality care for our service user, building positive relationships with them and their family while enabling them to live as independently as possible in their own home.


Meet our service user
Our service user is a young girl who lives with her family in Norwich. She requires support with her complex needs throughout the day.


Family time is very important to her, and she loves being out and about taking part in her favourite activities such as horse riding and hydrotherapy.

She also loves to attend school where she loves to interact and socialise with her friends and teachers.


Throughout the day you will be required to support her to access her interests and favourite activities as well as meeting her care needs, this could include personal care, regular monitoring, mobility support, attending to her clinical care needs when required, and always ensuring her safety.

She has a visual and hearing impairment and has a communication plan in place to aid this.

She can understand lots of what is communicated to her and will respond in her own way, so it is important that you can begin to understand and interpret her wants and needs.


Essential Experience Required

  • 3 months previous care experience
  • Personal Care
  • Moving and Handling
  • Medication Administration

Desirable Experience

  • Epilepsy Care / Seizure Management
  • Rescue Medication
  • Gastrostomy Care (PEG Feeding)
  • Oral Suction

We have the following shifts available;

  • Part Time Days 23 shifts per week


Monday
  • Friday
  • 3:30pm
  • 8:00pm
  • Adhoc day shifts will be required on a weekend

Weekdays:
£15.50 Per hour (Approx. £69.75 per 4.5-hour shift)

Saturdays:
£16.50 per hour (Approx. £181.50 per 11 hour shift)

Sundays:
£17.50 per hour (Approx. £192.50 per 11 hour shift)

Bank Holiday:
£18.50 per hour (Approx. £203.50 per 11 hour shift)

This is a personally rewarding role where you can build on your clinical skills and experience, whilst delivering exceptional care and support to our service user, really making an impact on her day-to-day life.
