Job Role


Despatch workers must be able to work in a fast paced, physically demanding environment, be flexible to working shifts and overtime and take pride in delivering a first-class service to Rodo customers.


Tasks include:

  • Accurately picking & packing large volumes of products via computerised voice technology
  • Ability to carry out a physically demanding role consistently for the duration of the shift (plus overtime) which includes regularly lifting large and heavy products and hand wrapping pallets
  • Occasional use of Flexi & Reach trucks to pick products from racking (must have valid FLT license)
  • Occasional work in loading bay and dealing with distribution carriers

Benefits / Hours


39.5 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern: Mon - Thu 6.00am - 2.30pm, Fri 6.00am - 1.30pm / Mon - Thu 11.15am - 8.00pm, Fri 11.15am - 5.

45pm (plus regular compulsory overtime)
- £10.62 per hour (£21,813 pa) rising to £10.88 per hour (£22,347pa) after completion of 13-week probationary period

  • Additional attendance bonus scheme (up to £600 per annum)
  • 23 days holiday per year + bank holidays. Extra day for each 2 years to a maximum of 25 days
