We’re hiring for a **Warehouse Operative** to join a manufacturer based in **Droylsden**, **Tameside.** With several sites across the globe, they are well established and recognised in the industry for their innovation and bespoke products.

It will be your responsibility to aid the technical team in fulfilling their task to repair faults in a timely manner, by assisting with some of the less technical tasks, such as testing and some basic repairs. However, your role will predominantly involve packing and unpacking goods to support the team.

**What’s on offer?**
- £11.42 - £11.92 per hour
- Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pM/Friday 12:00pm finish (36-hours per week)
- 23 days holiday + bank holidays (rising with length of service)

**What will you be doing as a Warehouse Person?**
- Packing and completing products for return to customer or stock
- Carrying out repairs on ‘repeat’ high volume products
- Booking in new jobs and creating process documents
- Carrying out some testing and assembly of products
- Making a positive contribution to continuous improvement activities within the team

**What do you need?**
- Relevant experience within a manufacturing environment
- Familiar with using electrical/electronic test equipment an advantage
- Good organisational skills and strong attention to detail
- High degree of spatial awareness, technical ability and focus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Temp to perm

**Salary**: £11.42-£11.92 per hour
