Full time, live in or live out shared care Nanny (big sister kind of role) - Lytham St Annes - 55 hours per week.

This is a long term position.


A friendly, laid back family in Lytham St Annes require an exceptionally lovely Nanny that would be happy with a mix role of sole and shared care of their 2 children aged 3 and 10 months old.

They also have 2 stepchildren that stay on a regular basis and will need meals prepared and may need to be taken and collected from school.


The main roles will consist of educational activities working alongside mum, messy play, preparing meals, organising days out, playdates locally, and most importantly, ensuring the children are meeting their milestones.

The family have a housekeeper so only light housekeeping will be required such as washing and ironing the children's clothes, tidying their bedrooms etc.


Mum is very hands on so the Nanny must be happy with this set up and be able to work together as a team.

This is offered as a live in or live out position.

If the live in option is taken, then the family will offer an apartment a few minutes' drive from their home.

A car will be provided for work purposes.

Days and hours required:


5 days per week - 55 hours which will be flexible and will be discussed at interview stage, but ideally 6.

30 am

  • 5.30 pm. Monday Friday
Overnight stays will occasionally be required.

These hours can be adjusted if needs be for the right person.

The nanny would be required to go away on holiday with the family a few times a year.

The family have 3 friendly dogs (German Shepherd, Labrador, and border collie cross).

The applicant must have:
12 hour Paediatric First Aid Certificate within the last 3 years.

Minimum 3 years childcare experience with similar aged children.

Full UK driving licence and be a confident driver.

Long term commitment.

This is a non-smoking role

Salary - £33,200 per annum (live in salary)

Live out salary to be discussed.
