This is an essential role providing high-quality pastoral support to colleagues; including international colleagues and Healthcare Support Workers who may be new to Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust.
This role will be pivotal to help new and existing staff, particularly Healthcare Support Workers to access practical support, education and mentoring at any stage in their employment with the Trust.
The role will involve making sure they have a great experience working within our Trust and are well equipped to provide the very best care to the people we serve.
This exciting opportunity will also include building successful relationships with colleagues, providing emotional and social support as they relocate to the UK and begin their employment with Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust.
The post holder will work independently but will have full support and supervision of the Senior HR Manager to support with decision making and problem-solving.
The post holder will be required to work flexibly, including some weekend and out of hours working to meet the requirements of the service.
This role will support colleagues across various work locations and within the community therefore the post holder will need to hold a full driver licence and be able to travel between the different sites.

The purpose of this role is to provide high-quality pastoral support for newly recruited colleagues; including international nurses and Healthcare Support Workers who are new to Gloucestershire Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust.
This role will improve the experience of international and healthcare support worker colleagues, maximising the recruitment and retention of these key colleagues.
The postholder will help new and existing staff to access practical support, education and mentoring at any stage in their employment with the Trust to make sure they have a great experience working within our Trust and are well equipped to provide the very best care to the people we serve.
This post requires the post holder to be able to undertake all statutory and mandatory training and post holders must be able to undertake physical interventions.
