Leatherhead Trinity School and Nursery is a happy and successful, two form entry, Primary School close to the centre of Leatherhead.
We were judged Good by Ofsted in all categories in June 2019. The school is seeking to appoint a premises assistant to join our dedicated and exceptional staff team.We are looking for someone who will support premises manager in the day to day operations side of the school.
The role is full time (52 weeks per year) 30 hours per week. Start and finish time are agreed with the premises manager to cover the hours that the school is open. There is also opportunity for additional hours to cover holidays etc.The work covers basic DIY, Cleaning, Setting up of classrooms and the hall for lunches and hires. As well as basic gardening, cutting grass, trimming bushes etc. Liaising with contractors and arranging service called as and when required. Working with the wider school team to help ensure the smooth safe running of the school.
About You:
- Must be happy working around nursery and primary school age children
- Physically fit
- Positive attitude keen to learn
- Flexible, forward thinking, and enthusiastic with a sense of humour
- Experience is not essential
- No formal qualifications are required but good literacy skills and able to use basic IT is essential
