This role is integral to the KBR Directory and Cloud Services, as well as the Enterprise Security Operations teams. The selected candidate will be expected to contribute to projects supporting governmental defense initiatives. Under general supervision, this position is responsible for the performance and outcomes of a specific discipline or subgroup within the organization. The role entails achieving functional objectives related to Directory and Cloud services and may involve the development of functional strategies and oversight of global processes and procedures.
- Oversee Active Directory management, including Group Policy, Organizational Unit structures, Sites and Services, Trusts, and DNS.
- Utilize networking knowledge to diagnose connectivity issues, including firewall configurations, and demonstrate familiarity with network analysis tools such as Wireshark.
- Support the internal PKI infrastructure, including certificate issuance and template management, while assisting application teams with their certificate needs.
- Ensure compliance with audit and regulatory requirements in the UK and internationally, including Cyber Essentials and ISO27001.
- Collaborate with IT teams to manage KBR's cloud environments, encompassing Microsoft Azure, Office 365, AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and others.
- Provide operational support for cloud directory services like Azure AD.
- Design and implement security policies, including Conditional Access, to enhance cloud security.
- Work with endpoint management teams to deploy policies via Microsoft Intune for various devices.
- Leverage scripting tools, such as PowerShell, for effective management of on-premises and cloud directories.
- Assist in KBR's Zero Trust remote access security initiatives.
- Manage internet access through on-premises proxy servers and cloud-based filtering solutions.
- Engage collaboratively with key stakeholders across the organization, including external auditors and business process owners.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of organizational processes, goals, and strategies.
- Identify opportunities for enhancing existing processes and controls, recommending constructive actions to address deficiencies identified through compliance audits, thereby strengthening the cybersecurity posture.
This position necessitates extensive knowledge of Microsoft core platform technologies and familiarity with IT enterprise directory services technologies and standards, including software and hardware lifecycle management, system and security configuration policies, and related technologies.
Experience with cloud computing technologies and emerging trends is essential for promoting long-term cloud adoption with appropriate security measures.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Azure AD, and AWS is required to support security governance and technologies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems.
- Significant experience in architecting, implementing, and maintaining Microsoft infrastructure and security technologies, particularly in Directory Services or IT Security.
