The Role

adMarketplace HQ is based in New York with over 200 employees. Since 2019 the team in London has been steadily growing as we have seen great success in the European market.

As a Director of Client Services you will be responsible for managing revenue KPIs and building a results-driven culture on the Services team. You will own client retention and growth strategies across our top advertisers and work closely with senior leadership as well as other department heads to deliver strong results.

What You'll Do

  • Lead for a growing team/pod - managing your own accounts as well as ensuring the overall success of your pod
  • Monitor day-to-day account management & campaign management tactics across your teams key accounts with an eye towards building out efficiencies in team processes.
  • Actively participate in all phases of account management and development and work with internal stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Provide customer insights to your clients as a data storyteller; deliver our message during QBRs, meetings, and events that demonstrate an understanding of the market, your clients' business goals, and answer any objections.
  • Identify and implement growth strategies across your book of business as well as your teams.
  • Provide customer insight to Product team for new features, functionality and enhancements; serve as business owner for advertiser facing products.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree; 5-7 years of account management experience at the Enterprise level, search advertising experience a plus
  • Experience managing, hiring, retaining, and mentoring junior team members
  • As a small but growing team you will be responsible to support our current high performing account managers with 2-4 years experience as well as helping to hire and onboard new junior members of the team
  • Strategic thinker who is comfortable using platforms, data & insights to grow relationships, identify, and solve problems.
  • You must have confidence with tracking and attribution and incrementality studies i.e. MMM to be able to bridge conversations between clients and the internal measurement team is critical for this role
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience building internal and external relationships
  • Proven ability to set clear and deliverable goals
  • Able to grasp and solve complex business issues quickly and creatively
  • Excellent communication skills: collaborating, negotiating, persuading
  • Eligible to work in the UK without visa/sponsorship and be able to travel to the US as needed with an ESTA only
